The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC75

It's a wonderful week
here in The Cafe...
but when isn't it??!!!

Another brand new sponsor to introduce
you to and a really fun color combo
to play with.

Your color host for this week is

"This is another really fun photo I snagged from
my friend Polly Hood's blog, Counting Your Blessings.
I loved the colors that were just 'barely there'
against the back drop of silver playing pieces of
the Classic Monopoly Game.
This week, I challenge you to use silver
as part of your entry with the other lovely
shades of pink and blue."

This week's special guest designer represents our
sponsorship as well.
We welcome to The Cafe....

The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC74

Another week...another fabulous challenge!
Here we go!

This week's color host is

She captures the concept of what
The Cafe is about.....

"I chose this photo because it reminds me of
a summer's afternoon.  I can just imagine....
two friends, sitting around the table
enjoying an afternoon tea of scones
with jam and cream
while catching up on the latest news"

We are super excited to have one of our regular
players in The Cafe as this week's Guest Designer.
We welcome....

Taylor Usry

"I live with my husband and two kids in southern Virginia. I’ve been an avid crafter my whole life, but I’ve only been obsessed with paper crafting for the last 7 years or so.  I cannot remember a time when I didn’t have a crayon, marker, glue stick, ribbon, or something crafty in my hands! I could wander amongst the craft aisles all day every day, and be quite happy. With my hectic schedule, my craft time is my quiet time - so I named my blog The Quiet Moments (http://taylorusry.blogspot.com). I don't know what I'd do without my quiet time each day. It's just me, a cup of tea, and my favorite bits of crafty goodness!
I’m often asked if I have a particular style – I’d say it’s eclectic. There really isn’t much I don’t like, or anything I won’t try. I love every aspect of the creative world.
I’m honored to currently be part of several talented design teams, and am so thrilled to be a guest designer here today! "

Taylor is also a part of the design team that brings
us this week's prize for 'The Cup of the Week'...

Two Graphic Designers.
Two cardmaking, stamping, & scrapbooking enthusiasts.
Two long-time friends.
Tricia Elizabeth (Lizzie) Ulberg and Meridith Anne Ethington are the owners of Lizzie Anne Designs. As long-time cardmakers and scrapbookers, we are excited about the opportunity to utilize our art backgrounds, business backgrounds, and knowledge of the stamping/scrapbooking industry to design products for the hobby we love dearly. We believe that stamping and scrapbooking products should inspire creativity in all who use them, and this is our goal!

And here is what YOU could win...
Prize valued at $39.95!

All of our designers had a creative time
playing with the designs provided by
Lizzie Anne Designs and we hope you
are inspired to play and purchase!
And as if there isn't already enough
inspiration...several of the girls from
the Lizzie Anne team are playing with
us as well!

The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC73

It's time for another set of
yummy colors
here in The Cafe.

It's been so great to see so many new players
and new followers of our challenge.
With the many choices out there,
we appreciate the support you have shown
to our wonderfully creative design team.
Each week, they bring you such
amazing inspiration
for all skill levels of crafting.

This week's challenge host is

"If you have been a fan of our challenge
for any length of time, you know I draw
loads of inspiration from America's
most successful hostess, Martha Stewart.
When I saw this color palette by way of these
beautiful photos, my choice was easy.
I hope you enjoy having a play with them.
They are bold and rich and yes....yummy!"

We love when we have Guest Designers who come
along with our sponsorships and this week is
definitely no exception!
Please welcome, for the first time in The Cafe...

"I'm a HUGE rubber stamper. I have stamped for as long as I can remember- I started when I was a little girl. Over the years my style has definitely progressed. (Take a look at my older posts...I'm amazed at how much I have improved!) I'm a perfectionist and I like to think that my cards show that fact. I'm a huge fan of rhinestones, scallops, ribbons and yes, PINK.
I'm a girly girl who likes to live large, but spend thrifty...sort of. My blog captures the essence of who I am, the things I enjoy/ am interested in, and the things I am learning. In between my crafting posts, you may find mentions of the gym (I'm starting to become a junkie), movies and friends. I hope you'll come follow me on this adventure called Life."

Our Design Team had the privilege of playing
with a variety of images from DeNami.
Here's a little about their fabby company:

Established in 1989, DeNami Design has been known for a timeless style featuring simply elegant art. From our extensive line of quality rubber stamps to the newer line of coordinating scrapbook papers, we specialize in stylish and sophisticated products. These delightful designs are easy to mix and match for a designer look on all your paper arts.
In addition to providing a wide range of products, we also have an extensive collection of project ideas. We strive to continually provide you with new inspiration both on our website and our blog. We hope you'll check them out!

Paulina brought something along from DeNami Design
that will be given to this week's Cup of the Week...
